Miller Saltzman

Originating from his Jewish upbringing, Miller’s passion is improving people’s lives through policy. He has extensive experience working for elected officials at the state and local levels on policy, district relations, and campaigns. Before joining Jewish California, he established the policy arm of a nonprofit working with young people of color on affordable housing. He also led a diverse coalition of organizations in support of a California constitutional amendment to make housing a human right. Miller has a strong understanding of the legislative process and a history of engaging in successful advocacy with elected officials.

Miller serves as a member of Jewish Family Service of San Diego’s Advocacy Committee and is currently a member of the Glass Leadership Institute through ADL. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Pitzer College, where he was Hillel President.

Miller loves going to the beach and hiking with friends and his dog, Bee. He also enjoys gardening, traveling, and hosting Shabbat dinners with friends. He grew up in the Jewish community in San Diego, where he currently lives.
