Debi is the Chair of Jewish California, having assumed this role after serving as Vice Chair in 2023 and 2024.  She also chaired Jewish California's Capitol Summit Committee in 2024.

Debi has been involved in Jewish Federation Los Angeles for many years where she has held many leadership positions including Chair of Women’s Philanthropy and the Community Leadership Institute. She was a member of the Board of Directors for ten years and was honored twice by the Federation for her leadership roles.

Having practiced law for over 30 years, Debi specialized in Family Law litigation and mediation. Debi and her husband, Marc, who is also active in the Jewish community, live in Los Angeles and have two married daughters, one son, and four grandchildren.
